Nothing beats a guac dip and with this recipe, this classic just got better; a mix of French onion dip and traditional guacamole recipe - a combo that will blow anyone away.
- 1 tablespoon neutral vegetable oil
- 3 large scallions - white and pale-green parts thinly sliced, dark green parts trimmed, finely chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 avocado, coarsely chopped
- 100 gr cup plain Greek yogurt
How to make it
Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat, add sliced scallions and a pinch of salt; sautee until the scallions become slightly brown around the edges. Transfer to a medium bowl together with oil.
Add avocado, yogurt, and remaining salt; stir to combine, lightly mashing avocado so the mixture is slightly chunky.
Taste and adjust seasonings. Top with finely chopped scallions.
